Perth Sri Lanka Buddhist Vihara was established as an incorporated Body in 1998. The Temple serves the needs of the Sri Lankan Buddhist Community and is also open to anyone interested in the study of Lord Buddha’s Teachings and Meditation, including Meditation techniques.
Perth Dhamma School is organised by the temple to out to teach children about the Buddhist Teachings.
The monthly observance of Sil happens on the Saturday closest to a full moon day.

SLSBS is the only Sri Lankan Buddhist society in WA, and we are adherents of the Theravada Buddhist tradition as practiced in Sri Lanka. Established primarily to serve the Sri Lankan Buddhist Community of WA, our current services extend to activities that contribute to the social wellbeing of the wider community. We also support humanitarian crises in Sri Lanka, Australia, and other countries.
